I’ve had this pattern for a while now and finally got around to using it. I’m really glad I did! I love how it turned out and it’s a really good size and style! In fact, I think I might have to make myself one like it. :) I especially like how it’s got a zipper across the top and the side pockets were very easy to do.

When I went to the fabric shop a couple of weeks ago, they had this fabric and I thought it was so pretty for spring! I really like the colors and was happy to find a button in just the right shade of yellow to compliment it. I’ve made this style of hobo bag before but wasn’t happy with how the strap tabs fastened to it so I tried it a different way with a much better result!

I made this bag for a donation event for my mom’s friend and I love how it turned out! The colors are so vivid and pretty. It would make a great bag for the coming spring and summer! In fact, I had to go to the fabric shop to get some more of this fabric so I can make another like it. :)

I finished these two pretty little cosmetic bags just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. :) I really love the shamrock embroidery, I think it took me about six hours to do! Well worth it though. The second bag was designed around a button that I liked and really wanted to use. I was able to find some fabric to match and thought that a little shamrock in the corner of the pocket would add a perfect touch to it. St. Patrick’s Day is a fun holiday; I can’t wait to have some corned beef and cabbage! Yum!
